The CCNY Tunnel Boring Machine Company was founded in the year 2023. Paul, JunRong, Raj, Ryan, and Abigail, were all in their senior year of mechanical engineering school. After researching their career focus, they discovered their interest in tunnel boring. They familiarized themselves with the challenges and sought a simple, cost-effective solution. The SD11 was designed, manufactured, and sold to the top contractors in North America and the United Kingdom.
